The rapid growth of McCann Erickson’s business in Russia revealed the need to optimize management using a unified information system. The main challenge was to improve cost control and get a complete view of the financial status and profitability of projects, including information on time per job, procurement, and invoicing.
The presence of many disparate applications based on MS Access, Excel, etc., did not allow the executives to get an overall view of the state of work and profitability by projects and clients in real-time.
After researching the market offerings, the leadership opted for the FTS Agency Solution based on the ERP system Deltek Maconomy, which was originally developed with the ads agency business in mind and included industry best practices.
Within the framework of the project, modules have been deployed to manage work with clients, plan and manage work on projects, track employees’ time and bill clients.
The implementation of the FTS solution allowed McCann Erickson’s management to receive timely and complete information on costs, revenues and profitability by customers, brands, and projects. From now on, the key users and executives could perform the following tasks:
- receiving the necessary information on clients and works in real-time;
- accurate planning of resources and fixing time for each job;
- strict cost control;
- flexibility in obtaining information and the ease of use of the system;
- surveillance of data security;
- support for users in various operating systems for PC/ Mac.
As a result of the positive experience using Deltek Maconomy at McCann Erickson Russia, it was decided to implement the system in other agencies of the ADV Holding – Lowe Adventa and Znamenka. Back to customers
