FTS consultants implemented the system in few stages, starting with the financial accounting module. The company identified key users to configure the individual operating modules of the system. Instructions for the users were also developed together with them. At that time, the necessary management reports were also defined.
Then additional modules for e-commerce were developed to enable interactive exchange of information with customers in real time via the WTO website. In the last step of the implementation, an automatic information exchange system with the company’s main supplier was developed.
BEFORE IMPLEMENTATION
The final choice of the company management solution was influenced by the fact that WTO had branches that needed to be connected into a single information system. The choice in favor of the NaviTrans system was influenced by two factors: specialization of the solution for transportation companies, which was developed taking into account the practices of leading companies in the industry and full compatibility with all Microsoft products.
IMPLEMENTATION RESULTS
As a result of the implementation, the company noted
- reduction in the use of local IT solutions;
- standardization of processes;
- alignment of processes and deadlines for cargo processing between offices
- creation of a unified communication system (internal and external);
- a structured document flow; and
- strict financial reporting.
