Analysts of the research agency Gartner have released a new report on Content Services Platforms for 2020. In the report, researchers evaluated products from 18 vendors. The enterprise content management system M-Files takes place in the “Visionaries” quadrant.
M-Files appears for the ninth time in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Content Services Platforms (CSPs), previously an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) report. In 2020, analysts placed the M-Files product in the Visionaries.
M-Files is a global company providing best-in-class intelligent information management solutions that enable business users to get control of content chaos and manage business-critical information, regardless of where it may be stored — CRM, ERP, SharePoint, network folders and other business systems and repositories. Whether businesses prefer deployment in the cloud, on-premises or a hybrid deployment, M-Files moves beyond traditional enterprise content management (ECM) and unifies systems to present content based on the context of what it is and not where it lives, without disturbing existing systems or processes and without the hassle of data migration.
In addition to describing the M-Files product and its vendor, the report contains an analysis of 17 other suppliers including strengths and cautions, current evaluation criteria for potential buyers, and forward-looking market overview.
The report can be used as an additional tool for selecting ECM vendors.
