In order to better meet the challenges of the market, the management of Top Drinks decided to implement an ERP system that would allow real-time integration of business processes for all storage facilities of the company. The high-end ERP system Microsoft Dynamics AX was selected and its implementation was entrusted to FTS Bulgaria.

The following actual benefits and problems resolved by the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics AX can be outlined:

Customer service improved through maximizing the automation of order acceptance, dispatching and reporting courses to sites. To facilitate the work of the 24-hour call center staff of Top Drinks, a customized screen was developed in Microsoft Dynamics AX, that allows for a simplified follow-up of the defined business process without the risk of overlooking certain steps of it by the operator.

Improved supply planning. The supply scheduling process incorporated in Microsoft Dynamics AX collates stock availability with predefined item coverage rules. The rules are dynamic and are recalculated so as to ensure that stock availability meets sales in a future period with a number of days preset.

Flexible and dynamic pricing combined with traceability and analysis of results from marketing campaigns and promotions – the various promotional mixes and items are entered into the system using both standard Microsoft Dynamics AX tools for defining price agreements and the functionality for defining the so-called virtual sets (mixes) specially developed for the needs of Top Drinks.

Financial and accounting reports with the necessary analytics the management would need, such as warehouse, product line, manufacturer, etc. In Microsoft Dynamics AX data can be analysed by cost and profit center, cost allocation, type of discount, product hierarchy, etc.
