Summary
In June 2008 C.A.T.oil drilling signed a contract for the purchase of an electronic supply solution Maconomy E-procurement based on the Deltek Maconomy ERP system from FTS.
ABOUT IMPLEMENTATION
The Maconomy E-procurement solution supports both centralised and decentralised purchasing processes and can be used independently or as part of a company’s ERP system. Due to its intuitive interface, it is easy for users to get to use the solution.
The solution was implemented in two phases. In the first phase, the FTS team installed the Deltek Maconomy software and implemented the basic settings. During the second phase of implementation, the system was put into pilot use and employees started to learn the system, while FTS specialists provided technical and project support via a hotline.
IMPLEMENTATION RESULTS
- As a result of implementation, the company has realised:
- approval of purchase requisitions and orders online;
- tracking order progress and receipt of items;
- invoice processing and cost allocation;
- supplier relationship management;
- integration with other enterprise management functions.
