Summary

TBC Bank is a Georgian universal bank headquartered in Tbilisi. Bank Constanta was set up in 1997 as a microfinance organization providing services to small and micro enterprises. In 2014, TBC bank has acquired a 100% controlling stake in Bank Constanta, one of the leading Georgian microfinancing institutions.

In 2012, FTS consultants implemented the M-Files system for document management and approval processes at TBC Bank and Bank Constanta.

PREREQUISITES OF THE PROJECT

While operating, the bank produces a huge amount of paper documents, most of which are signed by employees, and the rest must be scanned, organized and placed under strict management.

To streamline this process, the bank’s management decided to use an information management system. During the selection procedure, the management settled on the M-Files system.

The key criteria for choosing a document management system were:

  • fast deployment;
  • fast user training;
  • ensuring the security of documents;
  • flexible integration with other systems.

The M-Files electronic document management system has changed the way information is managed, stored and shared, using a unique metadata-based approach that organizes and processes document content.
