Sika Bulgaria is a subsidiary of the Swiss concern Sika AG, Switzerland. The group mainly supplies high-tech products and systems for the motor vehicle, shipbuilding and construction industry, and for the manufacture of high-speed trains. In Bulgaria, Sika is actively involved in some of the largest infrastructure and energy projects.

The decision to modernize the existing information systems and introduce a new ERP system was taken in favour of Microsoft Dynamics AX after a careful analysis of the information, and also with a view to harmonizing the information systems within the Group and integrating them with corporate systems at regional and group level. FTS Bulgaria was selected as a system implementation consultant.

Тhe objective of the implementation was to support the activities of the Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, Finance and Accounting departments following the strict corporate rules and requirements for effective customer service and management reporting.

Among the results achieved were: integration of business processes between departments within the organization, improved operational management, control and planning; timely and accurate reporting, including by the corporate standards of the Group headquarters; building a BI solution based entirely on Microsoft technologies.

As a continuation of the successful implementation in Sika Bulgaria, a team of consultants of FTS Bulgaria upgraded Microsoft Dynamics AX to its latest version also in Sika Serbia.
