FTS Bulgaria at the annual conference Directions EMEA 2025

In early November, FTS Bulgaria took part in the annual Directions EMEA 2025 conference, where there were presented the latest Microsoft updates. The Directions EMEA 2025 event in Poznan, Poland, brought together Business Central partners and customers from all over Europe, with more than 3,200 participants from 650 companies from 60 countries participating in the conference.

Our team managed to connect with the Business Central community, successfully fueling our motivation, inspiration and success through sharing and enjoyable collaboration. We also got acquainted with the latest innovations, including advances in the field of artificial intelligence, and actively took part in sessions to discuss new functionalities.

The main focus of the event were the AI agents, Copilot integrations, new functionalities and development guidelines such as:

AI and automation, AI agents for sales and payments – automation of customer requests and orders; Copilot integration – supports daily tasks and speeds up workflows; Sustainability and Control – AI supports regulatory compliance and quality management.

A key topic was the development of user-friendly AI agents and generated great interest, and in-depth discussions.

New functionalities that were discussed at the conference were:

  • E-documents and standards – support for new European requirements
  • APIs and extensions – improved developer tools
  • Regulatory compliance – new reporting and sustainability features
  • Quality control
  • Functionality for generating user reports

Another important topics that were also covered were:

  • Mobile applications – warehouse operations management.
  • Scanning and tracking – improved barcode scanning to increase the productivity and scope of warehouse operations.
  • Integration with AI agents – automatic update of order and inventory data.

The format of the event itself was diverse and included:

Sessions to present trends and innovations – strategic directions for the development of Business Central and AI and demonstrations of new functionalities and mobile solutions; Roundtables – discussions on functional topics such as finance, logistics, warehouse, regulations, sustainability. Networking was of course an integral part of the entire event, as it gave us great opportunities to exchange experiences and comment on specific cases.

The main conclusions we drew were:

AI was a central topic, with AI agents and Copilot successfully entering daily processes.

Functionalities are expanding – e-documents, regulations, global accessibility, tools for user-generated reports.

Mobile solutions for the warehouse – make management more flexible, faster and more accurate.
