The transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations of Euromaster Import Export

First quarter with a cloud ERP system! For three months now Euromaster Import Export has been benefiting from a number of new functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations after migrating from Dynamics AX 2009. Euromaster Import Export had managed its business with Dynamics AX 2009 for 11 years, and in the last 1.5 years they underwent a migration project to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Together we decided to do a complete re-implementation of the solution, which allowed the use of a number of new functionalities of the system, such as:

• Demand Forecast – planning was previously done outside the system using reports developed additionally in the old version.
• Warehouse Management – ​​the module replaced several heavy reworks for tracking stock by package.
• Warehouse mobile app – it completely replaced the external system for mobile devices in the warehouse and, accordingly the integration with the old system.
• Web services – these were used to build a flexible and high-speed integration for two of the existing integrations which had already been merged into one (merchants’ mobile devices and online store).

The transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations will enable Euromaster to use more new functionalities in the future. Microsoft continually invests in developments of the system and provides 8 updates per year, including a number of new functionalities and improvements. The functionality that is planned to be implemented in Euromaster at the next stage is Credit management (Credit and Collections).
