IT specialists and methodologists at the National Revenue Agency (NRA) explained the upcoming changes related to the method of submitting information in the implementation of the Regulation on Registration in the Employment Register, which comes into force on June 1, 2025, as well as the submission of social security declarations to the revenue agency in compliance with the requirements of the Euro Act.

Managers and leading experts from the NRA held a working meeting with software developers in the field of labor and wages, and submission of data to the revenue agency for employment contracts and social security declarations.

“The purpose of this meeting is to test, together with you, the submission of information to the NRA, according to the requirements of the new regulatory and sub-normative acts, in order to make the transition smoother for your clients, respectively the clients of the NRA,” said Malina Panayotova, Director of the Information Systems and Electronic Governance Directorate at the NRA, quoted in a press release from the revenue agency.

During the workshop, the NRA concept was presented in relation to the regulatory changes contained in the regulation, in its part for the reception and processing of electronic labor records, as well as the main points related to Bulgaria’s entry into the eurozone. The NRA experts explained the periods in which it is necessary to submit data in leva and then in euros, respectively.

Software developers in the field of labor and wages had the opportunity to ask clarifying questions to the NRA experts related to the functionalities for submitting data to the revenue agency for employment contracts and social security declarations.
